    I have been diagnosed with the Swine Flu

    It's really doesn't live up to the hype.
    As another election draws near; the G.O.P. are yet again filled with a stupid confidence that the they will win the White House. What they don't realize about people like Trump, Carson, and Cruz is that their rhetoric only resonates within an echo chamber, but not the American people. They live in an illusion of falsehood and distorted truth and only seek information and opinions that confirm these beliefs and instantly reject anything that contradicts them because only their opinions matter. Their notion of freedom is freedom for themselves and those alike to them, but not the rest of the country which has changed.
    These are the reasons why the G.O.P is set to lose in 2016. And when that happens, rest assured that they will have myriad of conspiracy theories blaming everyone and everything from the liberal media, to Oprah, to welfare moms, and pretty much everyone but their own disgusting selves.

    Its not, its all hype.

    I had something similar to what the symptoms of the swine flu are a couple weeks ago. I missed a day of work, just because they told me to stay home in case i had it. It took about 4 days to go away, the cough lingered for awhile though.

    Theres actually been quite a few cases out here where i live. Its like the normal flu, just with more hype.

    My department has it and is passing it around slowly... - 4 out of 14 so far and I've managed to avoid it at this point but I figure it's only a matter of time.

    My case was pretty mild in comparison.

    On Wednesday, my body ached like I had run 10 miles. I had some diarrhea, loss of appetite, and a runny nose. But it only lasted a few days.

    What really sucks right now is this ingrown nose hair.

    I caught something nasty back in the spring. My step mother and my sister were in the hospital at that time. So I was visiting them quite a bit the week before I had any symptoms.

    Then the hospital had an outbreak of some sort of flu (not Swine but it was something nasty). Anyways I wasn't allowed to visit for a few weeks till I got rid of the symptoms.

    I just figured I probably caught it, what ever it was,, when I was visiting at the hospital. And in case you're wondering they are both ok now.

    My brother-in-law got it a week ago Saturday. He's a big whiner so he was off work for almost a week because of it. He survived though and is doing fine now, yet he's still whining. Ha, last year I think it was he was diagnosed with West Nile virus. The dude is just bad luck.

    That's funny because I worked at both of my jobs while sick. I didn't even realize I had the swine flu until it was almost gone.
    But my mentality is that if you're going to be miserable, you might has well be at work.

    That's the way I am too. Who wants to waste their sick days at home when you can be at work? About a month and a half ago, within a week of my kids going back to school, my 11 year old came home with a cough. She felt like crap but went to school the next day and did track. By that night she seemed fine. A few days later I of course catch whatever it was she had. I know it wasn't the swine flu though as I never had the classic flu symptoms such as weakness, fever, etc. I just had a cough that went on and on for weeks. It had to be a cold, but it was a whopper of one that's for sure. If I do come down with flu symptoms this year I'll do what I did a couple of years ago. 30+ minutes in the hot tub at 104F. It cured me within 2 hours.

    no flu, wel lswine flu.

    Isn't it suppose to hit those with strong immune systems the hardest? I know West Nile only gets those with weak immune systems.
