I am guessing if you have been folding since before 01-01-04 you may have to dig through the forums or rely on your crystal clear memory as I know I was folding for a year or so before the date on the extreme stat page.
    .

Indeed, I asked Jason Rabel about that 01.01.04 a few weeks ago. It 's when the Stats started, so anyone who started Folding@Home before then isn't registered with a correct starting date. It 's just the date of first registering points (and WU's) at the EOC Stats.
So, anyone with a date 01.01.04 can presume they started before this date, because almost no-one would have started on New Years day of 2004 ...

The 'regular' Stanford Stats don't even have a field registering a starting date for any given member. Only their latest contribution is dated and noted.

KakaoStats doesn't seem to have any dates in their database.

You can get some idea of how long each member has been folding for a team by looking at their user number, which is listed in EOCs stats. Take a look at any users summary. The numbers are not contiguous, but the 22xxx series seems to be amongst the oldest and date back to, (I believe), 2002 - which is when I joined the Frogs.

You also might notice that most of the old-timers have a disproportionately high number of Work Units to their points score, versus those of the last three or four years.

    I think.

    Re: I've been Folding Since........

Going back and looking at some of those old posts brings back great memories. I don't know when I started folding exactly. I know I finally joined amdmb.com at the end of 2001. I started off in Seti but switched because of the more practical application of Folding and that my grandma died of cancer. This has always been a good site and I eventually always come back just to check in on y'all.
