I've been Folding Since........

Going back and looking at some of those old posts brings back great memories. I don't know when I started folding exactly. I know I finally joined amdmb.com at the end of 2001. I started off in Seti but switched because of the more practical application of Folding and that my grandma died of cancer. This has always been a good site and I eventually always come back just to check in on y'all.

Yeah, the points they give out today are insane. If you were producing hundreds of points a day you were doing good, today it's tens of thousands of points per day. It's all good though. Money is so tight for most of us farms are a thing of the past. I can't imagine how much it would cost to run one those shelving units stuffed full of case-less 'puters folding 24/7 like we did back in the day.

Yep, interestingly I first met WSC buying Windbond mem for a system I never built!

Man, i remember those pics. It seems kinda ridiculous that it took me about 5 years to get a million points and then only 6 months to get the next 500k. They've really been giving them away.

My first WU was 5-09-04 so i'm coming up on 6 years. I've only had 1 rig folding under my name the whole time so its been slow, but steady
