It is a function of the CPU, not the BIOS. All AMD CPUs since 2006 can do it.

A check of the GA-MA785GMT-UD2H user manual on page 48, third item down, shows that the motherboard does indeed support Virtualization. As mentioned before, it is a function of the CPU and all AMD CPUs since 2009 support it.

Well I believe Sony and I think Dell both prevent use of Virtualization via the bios in some of their computers.

That's probably true as OEMs such as SONY and Dell (HP, Compaq, etc.) tailor their system's BIOS's to be simple and straightforward. This no doubt holds down support costs for users who like to tinker with their machines and end up causing mayhem.

Yes. Wouldn't want a Dell user trying run Ubuntu within a VM on the their Crapspiron

No, the problem with dell and HP is that they use Intel CPUs mostly, and Intel support for Hardware VT was spotty in the core 2 era. AMD has had a much more uniform policy of hardware VT in their products, with all but a few Semprons not supporting it.
