Looks like its based on Debian. Other then Damn Small Linux, I haven't used XFCE in many years. It looks a lot more refined then what I'd expect when I hear XFCE.
Now if only I had more computers to install different distros on, or was as ambitious as Sakee was to install 100 different OSes on a single computer.
I tried it out briefly last year, and I remember being impressed with being able to sort out my install before I installed it using the live environment. I then burned the remastered distro to a CD. I realize this isn't anything new or extravagant, but it is definitely not common on a Live CD. Props to them.
Im looking for a really good distro for my grandma. One that is super easy to use (for her, she is FAR from a geek) and one that looks good to. Drealinux is nice, but it is not being updated.
Ive let her try out a few "live cd's" ubuntu 8.04 & 9.10. opensuse 11.2, fedora, dreamlinux. She said she liked how dreamlinux worked, but also liked how opensuse was layed out... So I guess I will just install the awn dock and enable compiz on opensuse (she really liked the wobbly windows, lol).
