Is there a difference?

Hi all,
I am looking into getting an HSF for the new system I am putting together. It is an AM3 Asus board and I am a little confused.
I am looking at heatpipe combos and very few list compatibility for AM3.
My question is what is the difference between the mounting for AM2 and AM3?
If there is no difference this will make my hunt a little easier.
I am looking at getting the Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120 mm Core-Contact Freezer CPU Cooler because it is quiet and moves lots of air. I may get the 92mm after installing the board if room is a problem. I did run a thermaltake heatpipe that was huge on the old board so the height is not an issue. I will fabricate something in order to get an idea of dimensions prior to ordering.
