Since this is a 60Hz, is this a no good then? I keep reading that people talking about better wait for 120Hz right around the corner. This is a 2ms response. Is the 120Hz more for TV side?

I think the 120Hz monitors are mainly for 3-D, but I've heard it's supposed to help the response time seem faster, although I've never seen one in person so I'll omit my opinion on it.

Well that looks like an absolutely great monitor. It is a samsung so theres a good chance it isnt a TN panel but one of their higher quality PVA panels. It also has LED backlighting which is super great for color/contrast ratio and power usage.

120hz on PC monitors is different than on TVs. On TVs it is a simulated 120hz. They are all actually 60hz as well. On a PC monitor it's main benefit is for nvidia's 3d Vision technology. However it does also alow for higher vsync'd FPS.

I'm guessing at around $310 it's a TN, but I could be wrong...

Edit: The spec says the viewing angle is 170/160, so yeah, it's a TN.

That does look sexy. 120Hz was talked about as being the new standard for monitors but 120Hz will only benefit you if you plan to run some sort of 3D tech, Nvidias 3d vision, 3D bluray player, or AMD if they ever release one, etc.
