overclocking asus w/intel q550 and corsair xms 2 settings

I am having a problem getting my fsb to 1600 and my ram to 800 to equal a 1:1 ratio. What I am saying is that at 1600 my quad core would be 400 and two sticks of ram at 800 would 400 as well. I have a Asus p5q se2 board. If someone can help it would be great.

1.) What are the problems? Won't post? BSOD?
2.) List your voltage settings in the BIOS.
    3.) List your RAM timings.
4.) Do you have the latest BIOS?

The P5Q SE2 is in the budget line of the P45 boards from Asus. You should be able to run 1:1 no problem though.

I am running an E8400 at 1:1 on a P5K P43 board on stock volts, so it may just be RAM settings.

Need a few more details though.
