    looks like a very nice group of games. I bought the codemasters racing pack (which includes DiRT2) when it was on a big sale a little while back and got the unreal deal pack at christmas. I can't decide if i'll be tempted to open the wallet back up, i've got a huge backlog of games from all these steam sales to clear out lol!

    Day 2 brings AVP Classic for $1.25! I highly recommend this one. I'm going to get it just so I don't have to get the CD out again.

    Serious Sam HD: Double Pack for $7.50
    Ghostbusters: The Videogame for $4.00

    It's also worth noting that the big packs have remained the same price. This leads me to believe that picking up the individual games you want is probably the better strategy, as they're likely to go on sale by the end of the week. A good example of this is The Ghostbusters game. Yesterday it went on sale in one of the packs for 6.67 and now it's 4.

    where is the square soft pack?
    Max Plank: "A new scientific truth does not

    but rather because its opponents eventually die"
    Arthur Shopenhauer: "Every truth passes through three stages before it is recognized.
    First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is opposed. Third, it is regarded as self evident."
    Martin Niemöller:

    I remained silent;I was not a communist.
    When they locked up the social democrats,I remained silent;
    I was not a social democrat.When they came for the trade unionists,I did not speak out;
    I was not a trade unionist.When they came for the Jews,
    I remained silent;I wasn't a Jew.When they came for me,
    there was no one left to speak out."

    Why do some old games like AVP 2000 install DirectX when launched for the first time? Are they installing some old version of DirectX?

    It's now showing as 90% off for $1.99. I guess they fixed it.
