Who's going to bump this thread next? Liberated Llama? Now she is someone only the old, OLD schoolers here will remember. This place was good times back then and I do miss that.

Soltek. Had almost forgotten about them. I miss the days when there was so much more competition in the motherboard industry.

Agreed. So many great companies no longer with us. Abit, EPoX, and Soltek to name a few.

Here is an image for you. Two versions of the Soltek Golden Flame FRN2-RL. Busted out the virgin one (right) for my nForce2 retro build.

Good. As a parent of 3, my free time has dropped and while I still believe PC is superior, the aforementioned time available is gone. I have moved my hobby from PC to guitar and bass. I haven't purchased a new PC part it at least a couple of years. That said, my Pentium G3258 is still rocking 4.3GHz!

I take that PC upgrade back. I did purchase a couple 140mm fans, but haven't had the chance to toss 'em in yet. Usually, by the time I get home, I know I'm going to be anal-retentive on my PC conditions and am too tired to do the job. Maybe tonight, unless I just do more carpet cleaning.

So, in about 20 years, I'll have time like my dad does--he's always changing ROMs on his smartphone.
I'm waiting until school kicks back in gear to start projects since all three are finally full-day.
