COMPLETED - Sat Oct 9 - All day virtual LAN party #2

It's been over a month since our first successful virtual LAN party on Saturday July 24 so I guess it's time to start talking about the PCPer virtual LAN party #2

It's going to be the same basic format as our first virtual LAN party.

This is a summary of the format. Of course we are open to suggestions for change.

1. We choose a few games that there is interest in playing. Obviously Bad Company 2 for starters. Other games we were thinking of were the forever classic UT2004 and other favorites such as Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142. There will be a poll attached to this thread. Vote for ALL games you would be interested in playing. The best games would be those that most of the regular players have.

2. Set a start and end time on Saturday Oct 9. Last time we started at 10 AM ET and that seemed to work well so we will start then again. End time is entirely up to the players. In our first event we ended at 2 AM ET. That was 16 hours of gaming fun

3. I'll keep this first post updated with all important information. See below for starters.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO set start/end times for particular games. All that will be decided in real time over TEAMSPEAK. So you are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to join TeamSpeak for this event even if you have never joined in the past. I may update this thread with the current game being played but if you are not on TeamSpeak you may get lost and lose track of what's going on.

I think we boycotted all COD games last time But I've added it to the first post this time as a candidate.

Not sure about Serious Sam: First or Second. Ideally whichever one more of us own. I have both. Second Encounter would be better if enough people have it.

No way. That game is lame when compared to L4D. Dont forget to add L4D and L4D2 to the rotation Lenny.
