yeah, it wasn't my router like i thought. occasionally it loses connection to the main router.
it was actually my UPS. i guess the battery is shot and it doesn't allow the battery backed up plugs to work if that's the case.
all is fine now, only bad thing is if we blow a fuse i have no protection for the server till someone flips the breaker.
the ups was never connected to the server with a data cable sadly so it can't safely shut down anyhow.
it's no problem running the server, we have a good connection here and i have the spare rig and it's fun. teamspeak uses very little bandwidth anyhow!
according to tsviewer.com the server availability dropped 1% to ~98% just from that one day being down.
my geek ego was actually hurt when i couldn't vnc into the server from my phone![]()
