Disable GPU acceleration on Messenger 2011

This is really anoying me. When I open messenger I get the image like strobe light and I cant read or write practically. I know it has to do with GPU acceleration cause Im getting a fraps counter on top. Anyone know how to disable GPU acceleration in the new messenger?

I tried looking all through its settings and it showed nothing. I was able to do it with IE9 beta but not this.

Hmm... well a couple of things I can say.

First, I use Pidgin for my MSN -- the latest Messenger beta put me off of MSN Messenger permanently.

Secondly -- try upgrading your videocard drivers... I never had weird strobing when I used it.

Thirdly -- Did you try disabling FRAPs when using MSN? It's possible that they're not fully compatible together yet.

Hmm, FRAPS? Maybe that will work, I guess I try that next time I install this new messenger. Just running older version for now cause It doesnt give me any problems.
