    This place is dead....

I fired up the PCs two weeks ago to heat the house and there doing a good job.
I still haven't turned the furnace on.

I have two 5870's that crank out the heat but they also crank out some serious credits also.

Trying to get a million in a single day. Just can't seem to get there....

It is rather quiet in here isn't it.

I've noticed the temps dropping significantly here since SETI stopped sending out work units to burn as fuel. I need to find something else for my boxen to BOINC if I want to stay warm.

If it's a really cold night, I Prime95 in place of SETI. But I fold on my GPU while I crunch on my CPU (or not), so I always have a toasty room.

Plus my 90nm PS3 is crunching on Folding as well.

Dead, dead, dead ... this place sure seems dead.

Any chance of getting a PCPer Milkyway@home or lhcathome team going?

Even if the large hadron collider is being stingy with their data.

Nice. I could use the extra heat around here. It's getting chilly!

    Hey guys,

I have a new 1090T I am trying to dial in the OC on and then it's time to fire it up for the winter. My thermostat is set to 62F in the day and 58F at night so I need all the BOINC heat I can get. It is dead and has been around here. We seemed to have lost the organizers around here and that's killed the activity. I am up to 4.2 and I think there is still room.

I'm about to start running full time 2 295's (I want to upgrade) and 3 5870's , I was pulling in a little over a million a day, before I had to shut down.

I shut mine down in the summer to. A/c, pool pump, added heat, no time to mess with the farm.

I used to have 25+ computers running boinc until GPU apps started. One Ati 4850 puts out more credit than a small farm of CPUs. Its not worth it anymore.

In Dnetc a dual core e1400 2.66g gets 56 credit for 55sec time, the 4850 in the same computer gets 3000+ credits in the same time. For some reason all my machines download CPU Wus yesterday. I had to reset Dnetc.

I wish there were more GPU projects to crunch for. I know some projects can't used GPU. Even if they used both CPU and GPU to get work done that would be cool. I really liked Climate Prediction.

I am having trouble with my 5870's, one was making noise so I pulled it might just have been a wire touching the fan as it was the bottom one but I am still only getting one card detected not 2
