BTW, Romney insiders is telling FNC's Chris Wallace and Karl Rove that they think Ohio is still in play.

In all seriousness... don't like either of them. At least now we'll have a real choice for 2016.

Yeah I'm watching Karl Rove right now. He's all pumped up that he might be able to prolong the inevitable a little longer.

Actually when Bush left office in January 2009 we DID have a 7.9% Unemployment rate... we had trillions added to the debt... and a massively unpopular war.

    So... yeah. Owned o.o

I'm talking about when he was reelected. George W. Bush wasn't reelected in 2008. So why don't you stop being so smug about something you clearly don't understand?

George W. Bush was reelected because he convinced average Americans that he could prevent them from terrorism more than John Kerry could. When they write history books about tonight, they'll say Barack Obama convinced Americans that the economic recession was Bush's fault, and that he cared more about the middle-class than Mitt Romney does.

Another symptom that proves that conservatives really do live in another world far detached from reality. Instead they fill it with... confirmation bias, make up their own facts and happily call it reality. It's so bad that they even had to make up fake polls to make them belive that their man was gonna win.

I'll will now patiently wait for the election rigging allegations to commence.....

As another election draws near; the G.O.P. are yet again filled with a stupid confidence that the they will win the White House. What they don't realize about people like Trump, Carson, and Cruz is that their rhetoric only resonates within an echo chamber, but not the American people. They live in an illusion of falsehood and distorted truth and only seek information and opinions that confirm these beliefs and instantly reject anything that contradicts them because only their opinions matter. Their notion of freedom is freedom for themselves and those alike to them, but not the rest of the country which has changed.
These are the reasons why the G.O.P is set to lose in 2016. And when that happens, rest assured that they will have myriad of conspiracy theories blaming everyone and everything from the liberal media, to Oprah, to welfare moms, and pretty much everyone but their own disgusting selves.

I said the polls could be off if the Dems didn't turn out. They did, and the polls were right.

To be fair some of you guys have both feet on the ground.

Just looked at the state polls. Looking like Obama could even take Virginia which would bring the EV to 325(ish) off the top of my head. I wouldn't have called that in a million years

I didn't doubt the polls. I just didn't think the Dems would show up in large numbers again and that the swing voters would go Obama again with the economy in the can the way it is.

Yeah, you're running your mouth saying "GEORGE BUSH STARTED WARS AND IS BAAAAAAADDDD" and I'm the one who got owned.

George W. Bush had a much better track record in 2004 when he won reelection. That's the point I was trying to make. Your point is "GEORGE BUSH STARTED WARS AND IS BAAAAAAADDDD" is completely irrelevant. Bush's record as of 2008 is irrelevant to his reelection in 2004.

Despite the results of this election and what you liberals think, "George W. Bush" isn't the ultimate conversation ender.

Whats even more amazing is that Romney still has a razor thin lead in the popular vote and has maintained that since the beginning....

It would be crazy to see a 50 point spread in the EV and a slight loss in the PV.
