So you're saying that Obama is better than anyone the Republican party can throw at him. I mean, you cannot even blame Romney on his VP like you could McCain.

That doesn't even remotely touch on the idea that Boosh tax cuts caused the financial crisis.

Let me put it this way, if they're so devastating to the budget, why isn't your Messiah peddling the idea of eliminating them in their entirety? Why did he push to extend them at all?

^^Exactly. And how does Obama justify the payroll tax decrease if cutting taxes is so counterproductive?
And contrary to what Obama has said...increasing taxes on the rich folks does not..I repeat does not = a middle class tax cut.
The middle class is in for one hell of atax increase next year via Obamacare. Do we really think allthe cost inreases wont get passed along to people? And BTW any tax increases done by Clinton werent done when unemployment was at record highs. So the perceived relationship is irrelevant. Were not in a tech boom as we were then.
But? Obama wants to gamble around potential GDP/Unemployment negatives associated with tax increases in exchange for some imagined "feel good" moment by hitting high earners?
Fine by me. Its your legacy to destroy even further.

I think, after four years of Obama, we should rename them the Obama tax cuts. If for no other reason than he extended them. His was the last action on the tax cuts... to leave them in place. They've been there for his entire first stint as POTUS.

I get it, ya can't blame Boosh if you rename it, but it is what it is. Its a joke to even call them a tax cut anymore... they were "cut" over a decade ago. When are they taxes and not tax cuts?

Oh brother, he we go again. No, Obama is a terrible president with a terrible record in his first four years in office. There are about 1,000 Republicans who would be "better" than Obama. But, if you read all of my post instead of just looking for something to troll, you'd see that I mentioned that the exit polls from Tuesday indicated that a lot of voters still blame Republicans and George W. Bush for the recession, so I have doubts that even a theortical "perfect" Republican would be able to beat Obama this time.

Any woman who believes abortion rights or free birth control are more important than jobs and the economy is dumb - bar none.

The legality of abortion was never in question. As for employer-provided birth control, the 47% looking for another handout.

Then if it's not as important than why don't the conservatives just concede on those issues so they can get elected and fix the economy?

    Suppose these events are correlated?

There is a legitimate reason to believe that a Romney administration would outlaw abortion based on Ryan's statement.

As another election draws near; the G.O.P. are yet again filled with a stupid confidence that the they will win the White House. What they don't realize about people like Trump, Carson, and Cruz is that their rhetoric only resonates within an echo chamber, but not the American people. They live in an illusion of falsehood and distorted truth and only seek information and opinions that confirm these beliefs and instantly reject anything that contradicts them because only their opinions matter. Their notion of freedom is freedom for themselves and those alike to them, but not the rest of the country which has changed.
These are the reasons why the G.O.P is set to lose in 2016. And when that happens, rest assured that they will have myriad of conspiracy theories blaming everyone and everything from the liberal media, to Oprah, to welfare moms, and pretty much everyone but their own disgusting selves.

Why is Florida always last to report their vote?

Is it just sheer incompetence, or some ridiculous habit of not counting it for days?
