    Re: The 2012 Election Thread

I think it shows what a lot of people already believe.

Only difference between Obama and Romney? One is blue, the other is red.

I'd probably place all of them a little futher left. But yeah, they're all pretty authoritarian except for Paul

That chart is a joke, right?

Move Obama to the top far left square.
Move Santorum down 3 or 4 squares and left to the center line.
Move Leroy down 7 squares and left 8 squares
Move Romney down 5 or 6 squares and left 7 or 8 squares

    That’s closer to the truth…

Whenever Europeans say "American liberals are actually extremely conservative!" they always point to that compass map.

That sounds about right although I would probably not move Romney that far down.

Now that makes more sense than that compass map.

btw… I wonder how the Europeans are feeling about their great socialist/communist experiment, the EU. I mean how is that European Union workin’ out for 'em.

Does your anger and need to produce a not-so-witty quip make you unable to comprehend what you read?

I see nothing in your response about what the GOP is offering in the next election, only proof that the anger campaign has certainly gotten your panties bunched. no offense, but your party is setting you up for a major disappointment that could cover the next four years. As someone who has no party or messiah, there's no one that attracts my vote.

On the compass, rhomney would be best shown as an animated gif moving all over that chart.

Come on, man. You're smarter than that. Don't play that game with us. "I don't have a party, I'm an independent." Like we never heard that one before.

You're a liberal. You vote for the Democrats 9 out of 10 times.

Tucker and I are conservatives. We vote Republican 9 out of 10 times.

Don't pretend you're some trendy outsider. You were going to walk into the voting booth and pull the lever for Obama in November regardless of who ran against him.

Well..now Im wearing my new Santorum hat but I just dont know. Its almost as if the moment I wear the hat...the candidate tanks or some new skeleton comes flying out of the closet. Like that guy Mush in Bronx Tale.

The economy must be getting better. The only things republicans can talk about now is birth control and how Obama is conducting a war on religion.

I love the smell of republican desperation in the morning.....

Except the Republican ticket doesnt contain conservatives anymore (hasnt for a long time). The only conservative in the race in Ron Paul. The rest are neo-cons and its a much much different thing.
