You can say you're not affiliated with the Dem Party, but a cow is still a cow, no matter if it's in a barn with other cows or standing by itself.

Don't waste your time he actually believes he is a centrist.

    Gentlemen,

The next person who who goes out of their way to derail a thread because they think it is cute to discuss other people's political beliefs rather than the topic at hand will find themselves on vacation from the forum for awhile.

Otoc claims to be a centrist. You guys disagree. This is common knowledge. It has been discussed to death. Discussions that violated the rules of TLR.

This is the last warning I will give.

^^What if they don't think it's cute, but do it anyways? I've got an eight year old boy at home, and of all the stuff he does that drives mom and dad nuts I don't think he does any of it because he thinks it's cute. . . I swear to God, I had a reasonably full head of hair when he was born, and now, not so much.

My apologies BD. I bit into that one and the result was the norm. My bad. Too bad a conversation can't be made on a topic these days without people getting so defensive about their beliefs that they need to run off about what they think someone is. On the other hand, considering how whacked out the GOP party has gotten catering to an extreme fiscal or social segment that makes them lose most temporate people, I'd probably want to change the subject too if I was a republican.

It's all a matter of perspective I guess. Where one stands or how one chooses to justify or explain why they believe something to be true. Keep making that rope. If I were a closet dem or flaming extreme lib there's plenty of posting material to be made that never makes it here.

If this response creates the need to ban, please do. There's little topical discussion of differing opinions. Myv and jz ( you too, but that goes without saying because of your background) being the exceptions while knowing there are more than just two types of people in the world.

Most of us took that political quiz, it pretty much defined us all.

So the guy who throws half the insults around here is suddenly playing the "Oh, the discourse is so uncivil" card? Please, you start half the crap around here.

I can have civil discussions with BD, Justin and the other lefties around here. For some reason, you seem to be the recurring theme whenever my side gets in trouble with the mods.

^^^ That post is an obvious attempt to derail this thread via a cute discussion of other people's political beliefs rather than the topic at hand.

    Re: The 2012 Election Thread

I think the president of the United States should read that warning. The 2012 campaign is going to be filled with off topic BS and discussion of other people’s political beliefs. The name calling will be xxx rated by the time the defacto leader of the far-left and the democratic party Bill Maher has his say.

Hell the far-left invented the politics of name-calling and personal attacks.

I guess we probably should be held to a higher standard of behavior than the president of the United States. His standard of behavior on all fronts is disgustingly abysmal.

btw... Those comments couldn't be more on topic.
