"The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us...

the article is pure libberal claptrap. The comments are comedy gold....
Why I Think Obama Is Losing
The author of this is almost done with the grieving process: Acceptance.I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that people are starting to realize they voted for a fantasy that was not vetted by the star-struck media. Turns out you can't run an economy based on unicorn poots, candy corn, and the dreams of your father...who knew?![]()

The more I see "O" losing a good percentage of the votes where he is primaried' to crooks and unknowns.. the more I think if Cankles were really as smart as she thinks she'd have dropped her gig at the State Dept. (where she ain't done/doing sh*t anyway) and run against Bamma.
Is Obama going to lose the Arkansas Democratic primary?

OK, now this is just ridiculous... the highly vaunted Elizabeth Warren even plagiarized recipes in Pow Wow Chow. But then, who'dathunk the Cherokees would be eating cold omelets with crab meat?linky dinkHowie Carr released evidence that appears to confirm Ms. Warren may have plagiarized at least three of the five recipes she submitted to the 1984 Pow Wow Chow cookbook edited by her cousin Candy Rowsey.
Two of the possibly plagiarized recipes, said in the Pow Wow Chow cookbook to have been passed down through generations of Oklahoma Native American members of the Cherokee tribe, are described in a New York Times News Service story as originating at Le Pavilion, a fabulously expensive French restaurant in Manhattan. . . .
The two recipes, "Cold Omelets with Crab Meat" and "Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing," appear in an article titled “Cold Omelets with Crab Meat,” written by Pierre Franey of the New York Times News Service that was published in the August 22, 1979 edition of the Virgin Islands Daily News . . . .
With the latest revelations that Obambi paraded himself as a Kenyan born author while in Harvard, one has to wonder if the entire batch of Harvard minorities is a suspect lot.
What a bunch of phonies.
I just saw that over at Legal Insurrection about the recipes lol. Oy gevalt what a mess she's created for herself. Just wait and see..somewhere, somehow a peace pipe will be involved. And Obama? the entire bunch are due for The Tommy Flanagan Awaed to be awarded by Jon Lovitz.
Mark Steyn...The recipes from "Elizabeth Warren – Cherokee" include a crab dish with tomato mayonnaise. Mrs. Warren's fictional Cherokee ancestors in Oklahoma were renowned for their ability to spear the fast-moving Oklahoma crab. It's in the state song: "Ooooooklahoma! Where the crabs come sweepin' down the plain." But then the white man came, and now the Oklahoma crab is extinct, and at the Cherokee clambakes they have to make do with Mrs. Warren's traditional Five Tribes recipe for Cherokee Lime Pie.![]()
Biden gets traded for Hillary? Anyone else think so?

Maybe it makes sense for Obama..and considering how he brought up "women" at the summit...well maybe.
Wonder if Romney has thought about Condi Rice.

Honestly I don't think she'd take the job. She and Bubba both know bamma is a disaster and is probably gonna lose in November. Not like she's done sqwat as Sec of State anyway. She really offers nothing that Plugs cannot claim other than being a woman. Tokenism ain't gonna get the independents back.

Prediction time. Seeing as bamma's pretty much emptied all his failed distraction ammo so early in the campaign, how long till we start seeing the plant filled Q&A's like the townhalls we saw last time around?

Talking of predictions, isn't it time someone set up the prediction thread? Just predictions - the rest of the sh*te can stay in this thread. A new thread where people put down in writing what they thing the result will be: who will win, and if you're feeling clever, what margin. It might interesting to see how accurate people are, especially this far ahead of the event, given how much can happen between now and then. And the various people who seem to basing their predictions on wishful thinking can step up.

Good stuff I think. Particularly the recent questions from some Dems.

Anyone ever wonder how quickly any other democrat...with the same record would be cast aside as a candidate? Are the media and liberals so deathly afraid of being labeled as racists that any and all objectivity around Obama has gone away?
^^ I have not "wondered" about it for some time.![]()
In other news. Looks as if our resident Liz "fauxcahontas" Warren defenders are going to have to find a new tact to defend her. The "she didn't break no laws" pitch seems to have run aground..
Boston Globe: Documents “raise further questions” about Warren’s story on ancestry
The documents suggest for the first time that either Warren or a Harvard administrator classified her repeatedly as Native American in papers prepared for the government in a way that apparently did not adhere to federal diversity guidelines. They raise further questions about Warren’s statements that she was unaware Harvard was promoting her as Native American.
. . .
The Harvard document defines Native American as “a person having origins in any of the original peoples of North America and who maintains cultural identification through tribal affiliation or community recognition.’’ It notes that this definition is consistent with federal regulations.
. . .
It is not a definition Warren appears to fit. She has not proven she has a Native American ancestor, instead saying she based her belief on family lore, and she has no official tribal affiliation. The current executive director of Harvard’s Native American program has said she has no memory of Warren participating in any of its activities.![]()
