Paul says friendship best way to deal with Iran
WASHINGTON (AP) — GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul says "offering friendship" to Iran, not sanctions, would be a more fruitful to achieving peace with Tehran.
The Texas congressman says fears about Iran's nuclear program have been "blown out of proportion." He says tough penalties are a mistake because, as he says was the case in Iraq, they only hurt the local population and still paved a path to war.
When asked on "Fox News Sunday" what he would do to deter Iran's alleged nuclear ambitions, Paul said "maybe offering friendship to them."
Paul's remarks put him at odds with both the Bush and Obama administrations; U.S. policy has relied heavily on sanctions and diplomacy to try to convince Tehran to abandon its atomic program. Iran says its nuclear program is peaceful.

I think Obambi has a traveling partner for his next apology tour.
It will be a smashing success just like all of the other Obambi apology tours.
Pretty please don’t make nuclear weapons…![]()
How does the old mafia saying go? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Imo it doesn't matter what we do, Iran is going to be a problem for us. If we go to war with them, it opens us up to more anti-US BS from most of our so called allies and the arab world, not to mention the fact that we can't afford any more wars.
If we go with Ron's "peace" plan, we'll probably get a nuke up our collective arse though from our new "friends". I say we drop a nuke on them that "fails" to detonate. It'll strangely have the Russian flag painted on it though. Then we sit back and watch the fun begin!

I hope we shall... crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations which dare already to challenge our government in a trial of strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.

I don't think I'm alone in viewing Newt Gingrich as the Republican version of the Democrats' James Carville. I sincerely believe both men are of far above average intelligence, but both completely lack the ability to come across as anything other than somewhere between a snake and a used car salesman. Seriously, I can't see him gaining sufficient support. Carville simply *looks* devious, slimy, you name it. Gingrich has more of the smarmy "you're an idiot" persona that's equally lethal to political aspirations. And yeah, I know Carville isn't running. . . I guess in that score maybe he's smarter than Newt, LOL.
Yeah I read that. What surprises me is the media sources that simply published his press release without a word regarding the tech.
More who wudda...
Poll: Cain tops 3-way race with Romney, Gingrich
November 11, 2011
In a new CBS News Poll, 61 percent of Republican primary voters say the sexual harassment accusations against Cain won't make any difference in their vote,
Meh. Nobody takes that seriously. Its just otoc looking for fuel.
But, if an Obambi supporter gets a half billion for his destined to fail solar fiasco... just coincidence.
Its kinda funny, really. The Cain accuser gets about $40 grand for a bad conversation... oooh... he's a cad.
The Clinton accuser gets something like$400$850 grand for physical probing... oooh... she's a tart.
And that wasn't even the one with the cum stains on her favorite dress!!!

Um...well..maybe I was a bit hasty inthrowing Herman under the busconsidering Cain's troubles after all. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_1...mney-gingrich/
I always liked Cain anyway..not that weasel Romney. lol
^^^ Just in case, don't toss that Newt hat out just yet.
But yeah, I've pulled the Cain hat out where its easy to get to.
And something I just learned... maybe old hat to you guys... best way to wash a baseball cap is to set it in the top rack of the dishwasher and run it on a normal cycle... yes, with dishwasher soap... seriously... when the wife is away, of course.
