I've already had some of the kill-cam shots for my current archer. Which really I don't care about and actually find a tad distracting.

Potions, however, do not - at least not with each other. If you quaff a +40 then a +40 then all you get is +40. Although one of those potions will stack with other enchantments.

    AFAIK.

I agree that it's absolutely ridiculous to have any sort of "bikini" armor. That being said though, Ghostdog's follower sure is easy on the eyes.

I turned my computer on tonight and a few minutes later Steam came up with a message saying "The Elder Scrolls V has finished downloading." Was there an update out or something, because I've had Skyrim on my computer for months.

jeez guys, lighten up, nobody said this was about realism! Thats the beauty of Skyrim and most Bethesda games... if you don't like it, mod it!

That's why I like nude mods! Just kidding, of course, though I do remember the Better Bodies mod for Morrowind was good.

Hey now, I said it was ridiculous. I never said I didn't like it! Btw, did any of you see my post above asking if Skyrim got an update?

After re-reading this, and considering my earlier clamoring about Witcher 2's nudity, I sound like a total pervert. *basement geek voice* "Heh heh, I like the naked ladies."

Most of us like nekkid ladies, but there's a time and place, even in a game. I may be getting old, but when I see a (cartoon) woman dressed like that my first thoughts are: 1) That's won't protect you from much, and 2) You must be freezing, love. Nekkid or armour, but not both.

    It's just a game.
The armour is just a "look"
You get the same protection whether skimpy or full head to toe.
Thanks for clarification on my enchanted items.
    That's what I thought.

Lol, that's exactly what my wife said along with eyes rolling when I told her there were nude mods for Skyrim. I'll have to watch it when I pick up Witcher 2, as I play on a computer that is right across from one where my 14 year old daughter is. I'll probably just play that one at night later when she goes to bed.

There's some nudity in the very beginning when Geralt and his lady friend are in the tent. After that, I don't think there's much nudity unless you visit the whorehouse after that.

you guys may already have them but I noticed Nvidia has newer 296.10 drivers which promise:
Game-changing performance boost of up to 45% in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, “the fastest selling title in Steam’s history”

    Re: TES V: Skyrim

    Cheers - downloading now.

OK, now a question: what would people want to see added to the game, via DLC or otherwise? In detail if possible - "all the game jam stuff" is a bit obvious.

Talking of which, after watching the game jam video a few times (it should be released as a commercial product on its own!) I realised that actually most of things in it I don't care a lot about. I'd like to see seasonal foliage, but that's about it. But anyway, here's my list:

    1) DX11 enhancements. I know they're reluctant to release these because it will upset the children with consoles, but I'm fed up of being held back because console makers haven't updated their products. DX11 now!

    2) A quest line to clean up Riften and remove the TG from all of Skyrim. Not just kill the people in the Ratway, but remove fences and sympathisers from all positions. Not just killing either: blackmail, bribery etc, whatever it takes. Add missions for Mjoll to carry out, with you or alone. I appreciate that getting it to link in with the MQ might be a problem (serves them right for making doing a job for the TG a requirement), and to link in if you've otherwise worked for the TG. But this is a popular option on the Official Forums and I agree.

    3) A massive expansion to the CW quest line. Either more complex tasks added to the current line, or add a new set for after the CW is over, as you hunt down sympathisers etc.

    4) An optional Hardcore Mode, in the sense of that used by New Vegas: you need to eat, drink, sleep, and most importantly: keep warm. This ought to be fairly simple, but the fly in this ointment would be deciding whether other NPCs are affected. Lack of food etc might cause reduced stamina, and lack of warmth might slowly drain health if left untreated long enough.

    5) Quest lines for the Vigilants of Stendarr, and the Silver Hand. Maybe the latter gets to re-arrange the Companions into a version where all the werewolves are removed, and other people step in to replace them.

    6) Fletching. Again, much requested. I had a look at trying to make a mod myself that does this, but I'm not certain enough of the mechanics underlying constructable items to be sure it works, so I've given up for the moment.

As I said earlier, most of the game jam stuff I no longer care so much about. For instance: the stealth enhancements aren't really needed as stealth is so over-powered already. And spears are silly. Yes, they are. They are good weapons for massed formations of infantry, or for charging on a horse, but useless for an individual unless the short stabbing type.
