Just saw "Ender's Game". Read the book a couple of decades ago. You've got to see it on the "big screen" to appreciate it. And it actually has a plot. Glad I spent the $6.50 for the ticket. Popcorn and soda extra.

Watched Zero Dark Thirty while working on my PC yesterday, then watched The Dark Knight Rises today. Both were good. TDKR was good, a little slow to develop but the climax of the film was pretty good. Its a little sad to know that its the end of the Christian Bale/Christopher Nolan era of the Batman trilogy, they were all excellent films

saw this last week and thought it was excellent. As my 11yo son put it. "I thought the movie was a excellent representation of the book"

Watched "The Departed" last night on the TV. Lots of stars, pretty good.

Watched "The Purge" last night. I wasn't impressed and give it 2 out of 5. They could have done so much more with the stories premise, but instead relied on tired old stereotypes and worse, they literally never got out of the house.

Pacific Rim. OMG. I knew it was going to be bad so didn't go to it in the theater, but I had no idea it was going to be that bad. Sad part is if they trim about 30-45 minutes of crap parts, it could be a really good action flick. 2/5

Just watched it tonight, thought it was fun, big dumb fun, pretty much what I expected. Like a classic Japanese monster flick, which I think Guillermo del Toro was partly shooting for, along with the robot anime' thing. One thing you can't say is that it didn't look and sound completely amazing, pure reference material to use to show off your home theater system.

I'll have to check it out then, my HT system could really use a workout.

Fast and Furious 3 Tokyo Drift. Such a great movie.

I'm going to be renting this tonight. It'll be weird not seeing "Jax" wearing his "cut."

Ok, so I saw Pacific Rim. Yes, it was totally cheesy in a old Japanese Godzilla monster movie type of way. That being said, I kind of liked it. I'll give it 3 out of 5 stars.

If you guys think Pacific Rim is cheesy like the old Godzilla movies you need to rewatch some of those old movies LOL. It was cheesy but not THAT bad and still entertaining if for nothing else the sheer scale of the battles.

Oh and yes it is great material for your home theater. I watched on my 61" with the volume cranked on the 5.1 and it was quite nice
