OK, 10 years late to the party, but started watching Firefly. Very good show, with laughs throughout. On tap for movies will be the ST reboots with kids, Epic with family and World War Z for me. Hope to have those all watched before the weekend is out.

oh, and last breaking bad episode, I knew it was coming but still, wow!

watched World War Z tonight. Give it a 3.5/5 Some of the zombie moves were just to comical.

Watched World War Z. I was told to watch it before I read the book. Probably good advice. I've been disappointed so many times watching a movie after I read the book. It was a good "zombie action" flick. Now I can read the book.

Just finished watching the 1958 horror/sci-fi classic "The Fly" for the first time in years, forgot how great this movie was, and the end, as silly as it seems, still gave me the chills. "Help me, he-e-e-elp me!!!!" And watched 28 Days Later last night, haven't watched that since it came out, better than I remembered, but the picture quality sucked big time on blu ray.

Tried to watch Jericho, could only stand 4 episodes before I had enough. The story was intriguing, so much so I had to wiki the episode list to see what happens, but actually watching the characters was painful, so calling that one done.

    Watched "Emperor"

Don't know how historically accurate it is, but it was an enjoyable flick.

Life of Pi is sitting on my desk at home in a Netflix envelope. It was a good book, we'll see how it translates to the big screen. I think it would necessarily lose something in the change of medium... the book is powerful primarily due to the use of first person narration.
