The "New" Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy with Gary Oldman as George Smiley. I really enjoyed the version with Alec Guinness years ago.

I havent seen the original version but this version? I expected way better. Sure its a good story but presented in a really confusing way. Character development was so weak or hurried that if was difficult to sort who is who.
Ill read the book.

The Darkest Hour

Horrible.

If you have seen the commercials for this movie, you have seen all the best parts.

It starts off bad, and get worse. Meandering story, disconnects, and a Russian Nuclear sub that is about as paper mache as they can come.

Just finished Captain America. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Tomorrow night is Thor.

I would love to say I'll be seeing the avengers this weekend, but I wont have time.

The 1979 version with Alec Guinness is available on DVD. Much better than the new movie. Worth watching and the book is worth reading.

LOL I was the opposite, preferred CA to Thor but thought neither was great. Lets hope the sum of all parts The Avengers is better

I liked 127 Hours a lot.....Excellent flick....very hip movie.

Ok, Thor was great also. Not sure which I liked better!

Saw we bought a zoo with the family. It was ok. Give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5. Didn't need all the swearing and the story didn't flow that well, and some of the acting was poor, but Matt was good in it.

Watched 'A Better Life' not to bad, a 3 out of 5 stars and 'Hugo' maybe a 4 out of 5 stars

Our local Cable Provider is finally starting to fill its back library of good old movies for PPV (50cents to $1!)

Watched Men In Black 1 & 2 last night - my wife had never seen either!

I think I'm one of the few that had never seen the AMC series "Mad Men".

That said I had a lot of spare time last week and saw 4 seasons of Mad Men on Netflix.....it got addictive, lol.
