    Social Engineering Palin vs. Obama.

    http://politics.slashdot.org/story/1...from=headlines

"In what could be the most extreme and influential crowdsourcing project ever, Democrats are beginning to organize to purposely vote for Palin in the 2012 Republican primaries. Their theory is by having Palin as an opponent, Obama will have the best odds at winning reelection. Recent polls have shown that Obama comfortably leads Palin by 10-20 points, but Obama is statistically tied with Romney and barely ahead of Huckabee. They even have a state-by-state primary voting guide to help Democrats navigate various states' rules for voting Palin in Republican primaries."
Well... that's pathetic. They're too stuck on ideology rather than the goal they attempt to accomplish with Government itself.

    Also, what if she wins??

I recall hearing about that being done in 2008 with Clinton and Obama.

Haven't heard of that one specifically but it's likely. It's not an isolated instance -- crap like that's about one of the only things to be completely non-partisan.

So just because the site says they are liberals, you believe it?

Let's see (the website), no contact info, no donation info, anon whois info...

    other than this FAQ...

Are you secretly a pro-Palin organization?

No, but we recognize that some may see us as supporters of Palin through “reverse psychology.” We are a group of liberal individuals that wishes to have Obama reelected in 2012. We routinely post highly critical stories about Palin. While a pro-Palin organization could also post anti-Palin stories, thus using “reverse psychology” deception, we also post numerous poll results that show she would be severely trounced by Obama in the general election. If anything, it is these poll results that should prove our intentions: Numbers don’t lie.

I'm left wondering why you, living in Ontario, givashit? I don't know about the others on this forum, but I honestly couldn't care less about Canadian politics.

Is it that boring up there? I should think not. Or perhaps it's in the Phopojijo Prime Directive to perpetuate All Things Liberal to the rest of the known universe?

    Get a life dude.

Great ad hominem, but is there an opinion on the Palin site buried somewhere there or is Obama going to run for office in Canada?

If you get your dumb arses nuked, I get the fall out.

Joking aside, you may not care about Canada regardless of how much it affects your daily life... just like how I care about the States because your politics affects my daily life -- even though we're not in the same country.

Also, my girlfriend currently lives with her family in Texas.

I love it when democrats think they can pick the republican candidate.

I can assure you’re not the only one that’s noticed it.

Does someone's country of residence really have anything to do with their right to speak on this forum?
The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter - Winston Churchill.

It does when they include themselves in “we”.

    1) I didn't in this thread.

    2) That's completely irrelevant.

    3) Your politics has almost as much indirect impact on me as it does directly on you... (It also directly affects me as well, but apart from my girlfriend I'm not at the stage to say why yet. Work reasons though. And no I'm not intending on leaving Canada.)

    4) You just don't like that I often point out where you don't make sense.

I'll simplify it for you then.

    1) I didn't say "we" or imply "we" in this thread.

    2) It would be wholly irrelevant if I did #1 anyway.

    3) What happens in the USA affects me just as much as you.

    4) You have a grudge against me and that's why you react like you do.
