Re: Any HD recommendations?
Yep, good choice. I am pretty much strictly WD. However, some of the Samsung Spinpoint drives are pretty awesome. I bought a 250G 7200 a few years back for storage, it still runs, it's just full now so I've pulled it. I'm in the market for a 2T storage drive that I can use externally via eSata for backups for all my systems, and will be looking at WD Green and the Spinpoints. My conscience tells me to get a 5400RPM drive as they are lower power and I don't really need speed for backup and storage, but I find it hard to buy anything less than 7200 having been a raptor fan for years. I'm waiting for the SSDs to come down a bit more before I make the plunge on one for an OS drive.
