    Any Bulldozer rumors?

Has anyone heard or read when the AMD Bulldozer will be available? I haven't seen anything on it in quite a while.

I'm fairly sure that most users could pick something up by the end of May.

    Re: Any Bulldozer rumors?

I have heard of the possibility it could hit the street in April and I've seen some roadmaps a while back that had it later in August.

However, after the Barcelona fiasco, I'm done holding my breath. I think that experience has doused any flame a rumor might bring.

That said, if they can deliver a competitive product in April that can compete with the 2011 LGA Sandy Bridge, it may give AMD an edge, a leg up and some cred back.

But this time- AMD can stuff their rumors. Deliver numbers.

"We say in our platform that we believe that the right to coin money and issue money is a function of government....

Those who are opposed to this proposition tell us that the issue of paper money is a function of the bank and that the government ought to go out of the banking business. I stand with Jefferson rather than with them, and tell them, as he did, that the issue of money is a function of the government and that the banks should go out of the governing business."

We'll hopefully know more this week; AMD is supposed to be showcasing Bulldozer at the CeBit tradeshow in Hannover, Germany which starts on Tuesday (1st March).

With a bit of luck the usual motherboard manufacturers will have some AM3+ boards on display too.

Don't call it a no-show, call it unpredictability!

I haven't heard anything new except for a potential issue with the new SB950 southbridge that is causing a delay. Not a huge problem for launch, as the AMD 800 series of chipsets should work fine with Bulldozer. I think a handful of motherboard manufacturers will try to get AM3+ boards out ASAP by using the 890FX and 870 combined with the SB850 southie rather than wait for the official 900 series.

    I don't believe that rumor.
