    Is there a website?

    That will tell me some of the parts in a pc? Like mobo memory and processor? My friend wants to make some upgrades and has no idea what he has in his computer. Thanks for any information.

    I don't know if this will help, but Belarc Adviser tells a lot as well. It's under
    "Products" at the bottom of the sub window.

    I didn't realise SIW had gone from freeware to paid software. The big advantage it had was a standalone version that didn't need to be installed. I knew AIDA64 and Everest had taken the paid software. Looks like about the only free (and comprehensive) utility is Belarc...

    Ya. It was an unfortunate move. They probably didn't have a choice though. It's still a pretty nice program nonetheless.
