overvolt 12v rail to 14.34 i check with a multimeter is this what is causing my computer to crash frequently?

i have a rosewill extreme 750watt
q6600 and a gtx 295

i got a ultra 1050watt psu and now is stable and was able to oc more my q6600 to 3.0 to 3.5 nice

Suggestion: Stay away from house brands like Rosewill and Ultra and Rocketfish. They're retailers ( Newegg, Tigerdirect, and Best Buy respectively ) ordering their brands put on generally generic products off of some backwater assembly line in my experience.
