1080p Playback

Hi guys, I have a movie that I cannot get to playback fluidly. It is a BD rip of Planet Earth.

My HTPC system is pretty robust. Specs are in my sig.

Here is a MediaInfo dump of the problem file. Is it forcing some settings that my PC cannot keep up with?

Hardware seems fine. Sounds like a software issue. What codecs are you running?
Have you tried disabling all background programs? Maybe something is hogging CPU resources which causes jittery playback

I was using whatever is built into Media Player Classic Home Cinema. On your suggestion, I got CoreAVC and installed that. Now it runs smooth as butter. Thanks!

Try CCCP (Combined Community Codec Package) you really wont need any special 3rd party players with this. You should be able to play ANYTHING on WMP with this. Id give you a link to their homepage but it seems to be currently down. Try googling it see if you can find mirrors.
