I was able to do the firmware trick on the MSI HD 6950 Twin Frozr II... but it is not available online. But I was still able to make it work successfully! Nice little performance boost.

More than happy to answer questions if you have any. It's a nice lil performance boost freebie.

Well, I'm not feeling the 3 monitor love. I went through almost all of the same mash shin-nations that I went through before.
6950 Sapphire 2G card, not the FleX one
Montor 1 Dell 1920x1200 24 inch monitor hooks up with DVI
Monitor 2 Phillips 1920x1080 47 inch HDTV hooked up with HDMI
Monitor 3 HP W22 16xxx1050 monitor hooked up the the DisplayPort adaptor
THis combonation gives me what I had before, this hp monitor is just not letting me feel the love. As far as I can tell I'm not asking too much to put 3 heads on this one card, I just want to put surf and turf on the displays and play videos and light* games on the TV.
I have nearly 400 dollars with shipping and so on in this project and it's simply over budget and stressed me way out.
Am I really asking too much to 3 different heads, all at 60 HZ, with this card?
I've tried If you don't have enough information in this message please review the thread and it should bring you to the same place where I am. I am going to go try to copy and paste this all into something coherent and write sapphire again as well. Thank for your help, and thank you for any more help you can be.

I think what I'm trying to do it expect 3 monitrs running in any ol' mode that I please, with playback on the Phiips TV and the web, apps, etc on the Dell 24 and the HP22 and I fear that's just not going to happen. I'm looking for 3 distinct seperate heads all having desktops on them, not running all 3 as one.

Bummer. My situation is three independent heads but all running the same resolution/refresh rate. Two Samsung T260's and an ASUS VK266H
I'd try contacting AMD to see if they can offer any suggestions/help

I got ahold of Sapphire, and AMD's knoledge base and what I want to do just isn't going to happen and it's going to cost me over 100 dollars by time this failed experiement completes with the rma processing and return shipping chrages.
I wonder if I coud get another moniter like my TV and run 3 heads then? my 24 inch dell monitor (2407 with all the inputs and sound bar) and can not justify spending that kind of money on 1 more monitor again) but I can get my hads on some 23 inch lcd's for 160 each.. If someone can recommend something in the HDTV resolution where I can get two for 240 to 300 dollars that will go on my Erotron VESA Arms, let me know, if might actually make sense to sidegrade and sell off the displays I have around the house here.
