Palit GTX 560 Ti 2GB

i Was thinking including the above mentioned graphic card for my rig , so i needed some expert comments from the users and the experts . heard it is a good card but it produces a lot of sound when it is used to its max.
i'll be using if for 3d modeling n rendering . do you think its a good buy . or should i be looking for something else . Really confused with all the options available in the market .

Also my rig is as follows, would really appreciate others point of view .

Processor : INTEL i7 - 2600k
Motherboard : ASUS P8P67 PRO
Grphic card : PALIT GTX 560 Ti 2GB
Memory : 8 GB Dual channel 1600Mhz ( Corsair Vengeance or patriot )
PSU : Corsair 850 ( will 850 be a overkill ? )
Case: CoolerMaster CM 690 II Advanced
Hard disk : WD Caviar Black 1 TB
monitor: HP ZR22W

I'm running two of these in one of my PCs, really like these cards. They don't use much power, have a very nice mix of price for performance and capability.

The fans are definitely audible when they spin up, but not annoying in my opinion.

As you can see in this review of the Sonic Edition (that has the same cooler) it's a very quiet card.

^^^ What he said. For modeling and rendering you need to look into the professional classes from NV and AMD.

That said. I've seen these 560ti's going from $240~$270 retail. For that kind of money I'd get a 6950. More bang/buck.

1st of all thank u all for such a swift reply,

@jethro : does it heat up too much, cause my main concern on this is rendering which will test this cards to its limit ( not all the time ) and if in case i am thinking of sli in the future , will the 850w psu be enough ?

@TheGlasMan : Which one would you suggest?? The reason for me to choose this card is , that it has a lot of vmem 2gb of it (other 560 ti don't have 2gb mem, the only other card available is from gainward for which i don't have suppliers in my region ), which is required for a large scene , also it was the fastest in its class , for just 20$ odd more .

@AMDScooter: As i mentioned the card will be used for modeling and rendering the concern that i have is the heat produced by the card. i dont wanna put separate coolers and stuff . Also my suppliers suggested to go for intel the reason he gave me was, its cooler then the amd . i known there is lot of debate between which is better . but i personally prefer intel.

Scooter was referring to the video cards, used to be ATI befor AMD bought them several years ago, and renamed them AMD a year or so ago. The AMD video cards are cooler then nVidia'a, by a fair amount.

Professional cards cost quite a bit more, mostly because the drivers calculate the correct answer, while desktop gpu's use approximations.

OCd GTX560 is cooler at load than a 6850, a 6870, a 6950, and a 6970.

I would agree if this card is mainly to work with for 3d rendering he should b looking at Quadros or ATi's professional card. (not 560s or 6950s)
