    Here's a few more:

    Actor & director of Chaplin and Gandi, Richard Attenborough was an RAF air gunner and worked in the RAF's film unit during WW2.

    Bill Wyman, bass guitarist in the Rolling Stones did his national service in the RAF in the mid 1950s.

    Peter Ustinov was a private soldier in the British Army during WW2.

    Lorne Greene served in the Canadian Army during WW2.

    Peter Finch was a gunner in the Australian Army in WW2.

    All of these are good except I could not find any info on Peter Finch's service.

    I have now reached my goal of 400 names by 1 June 2011. I'm shooting for 500 by 1 September 2011 now..... Thank you for your assistance.

    I spent mucho time this week re-coding the entire website. The HTML coding is much better now.
