Help with cooler for a 4ghz Overclock

    Hi All

I got a new system that i just built, but im in need of a good cooler that would get me a stable 4ghz overclock on my i7-930.
    system components
    i7-930
    gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r
    6g kingston hyper x blu
    corsair hx850 psu
    corsair 600t case
    gigabyte gtx580
    seagate 2tb xt 7200rpm

i know prolimatech and noctua are good coolers but they dont sell them in sa, so the main options are between thermalright, coolermaster, zalman, corsair and thermaltake.

Have some of the following in mind, thermalright archon, venomous x, silver arrow(might be to big) then thermaltake frio, zalman cnps10x extreme, corsair a70, h60 and also coolermaster v6 gt.....

    any help would be apretiated
    Power! i need more....

Coolermaster Hyper 212+ is a good bang/buck cooler with the right fans. If you are spending over $50 on a cooler upgrade to one of the closed loop water coolers.

As long as it fits your case/motherboard/RAM I recommend a Noctua NH-D14.

    Thanks for the replies,
Ive got a hyper 212 plus cooling my i5-750 its a super cooler but nt for a 4ghz overclock even on the i5 temps get to abt 80c so i need a better cooler
    for the i7.
As for the noctua, the stores here dont selling them or prolimatech so i would need to place a special order for it which would cost too much.

So my choices are limited to the brands i meantioned earlier.

I was getting 4.1 GHz overclock on my Core i5-760 with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 +. I got rid of it when I went to water cooling. I agree that it is the best bang for your buck. Just get a second 120mm fan to run in push/pull and it will cool great.
