    Dino D-Day

    Dino D-Day

The year is 1942. Adolf Hitler has succeeded in resurrecting dinosaurs. The reptilian horde has trampled Europe and the Mediterranean. Can nothing stop the Nazi’s dinosaur army?

You’ve played World War II games before…but have you played a World War II game with dinosaurs?

    Winning!

Now on Steam for just $19.95.

    The concept seems lame IMO.

Haven't had time to watch it yet.

I love a good war-themed game with dinosaurs. Looks pretty entertaining, despite the slightly obscure theme! I mostly pay sim/casual browser games or browser based games (Skyrama etc) but may trade in some gaming time for this one!

LOL. Ok I'll download now and if we are both around later tonight we can give it a try. I just can't promise if/when I'll be around.

pretty darn silly.. and terrible, in mostly good ways. I really don't like how most of the maps we played were at night. I guess it was supposed to be "scary" but it just seemed bad. As you'd expect in a game of this caliber, terrain collision was terrible. My first thought was that the game was heavily biased towards the dinos/nazis, but I don't think thats actually the case since, after a couple early beatdowns by the dinos, the allied team won more rounds than the nazis overall during our session . That said, it really is a lot more fun to play as a nazi dinosaur than a standard-issue dude with a thompson (the allies have a token dino as well). I like how you play the dinos from an over-the-shoulder 3rd person, it really drives home the silliness as you watch your dinosaur mangle GI's.

Bottom line: if it didn't have dinosaurs it'd be a horrible DoD ripoff... but it DOES have dinosaurs.
