    Official Steam sale thread

I thought it might be a good idea to have a single thread in which we can post deals on Steam people are interested in. So if it's on sale on Steam you can post the deal and talk about it here. Try to post the end date of the sale if you can.

    Operation Flash: Dragon Rising
$5.00 (75% off) until 1:00 PM ET today Tuesday 5/17/11.

Buu has this game so I figured I'd pick it up since it supports 4 player co-op.

    Steam deals thread.. good idea.

I picked up Deadspace about a week ago. Gawdawful console port. Only paid like $5.. but I'd still take my $$ back if there was any way to get a refund.

    Singularity
    $10.20 (66% off) until 7:00 PM EDT (4:00 PM PDT) Thursday 5/19/11

Anyone played this? I'm somewhat intrigued after watching the trailer video, though I definitely don't need another singleplayer FPS... I've got like 20 on Steam that I've never played. If it lasts longer than a single sitting (ala BLOPs, BC2, MOH, etc) it might be worth a shot

I have a boxed copy sitting on my desk waiting to be installed (Christmas gift from the family). Haven't played it yet, but heard good things.

Can you make purchases to your Steam account through the steampowered.com website, or do you need to go through the Steam client?

Working folks could do it at lunch or something if you could go through the Steam webzone.

I think you can but we should confirm for sure.

Btw, I think these sales usually go 24 hours. I just didn't notice the Operation Flashpoint sale until this morning.
