Would Like opinions on this system from Newegg

My son's computer is getting old. He likes to download music and surf web but he doesn't game (has PS3)

I could take dvd drive from old computer and. I have an unopened XP disc I could use. He has xp now. I'd probably pickup a vid card. Any recommedations for that (appx $75)

What do people think of this? can;'t find expiration date of offer.

This is a very good video card, nice & quiet, it would work great with that system.

I wouldn't hesitate too long on that combo. Windows 7 would run a lot better than XP just because it can fully utilize all of your components more effectively.

If you can swing it, get a Corsair PSU simply for the fact that Corsair's
CS is great. I know from a dummy mistake I made. They covered it
and stated that I hope I will use their products in the future.
I really goofed up new PSU and they were there for me.

This a decent replacement for what comes in the combo above.
Only thing being it would have to mounted upside down as the case
above in the combo is a bottom mount. The cables on the Corsair would
be towards the outside or access to the case rather than towards the side
where the motherboard mounts. I don't know it that's a ding or not.
Cables that come with a Corsair are pretty stiff and there's a lot of em.

And yes Corsair does honor their rebates. Takes a long time, up to 3 months,
    but they honored mine.

Seems the PSU was reliable enough. Though worth considering Corsair PSU. I have one, 850TX.
