    FUNITSU not FUJITSU shows in bios???

    Why would a laptop HD be recognized by the wrong name in bios?

    I have a FUJITSU HD that works perfect in other laptops but not the one I want to use it in. I also have tried other drives and got the same results. This is not the first time I ran into this. Working on Presario 2100 Series it has showed before. I'm trying to figure what I am doing to create the problem.

    I think the drive is just bad. Same machine 3 differant HDs work but this one wont. Shows wrong name and cant load XP.
