No Sound from MB and Sound Card
My Grandson has a MSI M2N motherboard using both WIN7 and XP. Through either OS he is getting no sound. Nothing from the MB or the Creative Audigy sound card. The Audigy card isn't even being recognize in the control panel under device management. If I do a hardware scan it still doesn't see the sound card. I did test the sound card and speakers on another system and they work fine. Everything was working at one time and just quit. Is there a jumper on his motherboard, or should I disable the onboard audio?? Why isn't the system recogning the sound card or maybe install it into another slot?? Thanks
