I don't see any great presidential candidate on the political landscape.
Bush/ Cheney put us in a depression......
Obama amplified it.....bail out bankers, so CEO's can get billion dollar bonuses
all these big businesses the GOP support sell us out and give American jobs to 3rd world countries (they pretend its about taxes, its all about cheap labor)

I'm still enjoying the crap out of my unlimited streaming for 8 bucks a month. Looking at my recently watched it appears my gf has been enjoying it too :/
I can see how people might be upset, but don't much sympathize at this point. No one offers a similar library and service at a more competitive price, the service can't grow without culling the waste (dvd hold outs) and as someone with nearly 700 dvds's and blurays who hasn't bought a single disc since he started streaming, I don't see why anyone would want to go back loading up disks.

Netflix stock plunges on brutal 3Q, somber outlook
Redbox just raised their price from $1.00 per night to $1.20.
Redbox is actually pretty cool. I've used it a few times. I always thought it was for Walmart people who didn't know about Netflix, but it's cheap, the movie selection is okay and the way the machines spit out movies and takes them back is cool. The only major issue I have with it is that some people take way too long looking for movies. I always reserve mine online, but some people stand there for 20 minutes browsing. HELLO, get out of the way please.
Its not to shabby. Around here it seems every drug store/grocery store has them out front. There are probably 5 or 6 of them within a 2 mile radius of my house and more popping up all the time.
I can totally relate to people taking too long. Out here during the summer time the tourists line up at the redbox's . Sometimes the lines are 5 or 6 people deep.
I cancelled streaming on Netflix. Now I have one disc out at a time (unlimited) + the BD option. Going to see how this works for me.
Earlier this summer, a woman was in front of me searching for "Tangled." She got totally pissed when the machine she was at didn't have it. I asked her if she had searched for it online first and for some reason it wasn't there like it said it was, this actually happened to me once. I kid you not, she says to me..."Search for it online?" I said, yeah, you know, on the Redbox website. You can search every Redbox within however far you want to drive to get the movie you want. Lol, the look on her face was priceless. This was the 5th Redbox she had been to looking for that dang movie. I didn't have the heart to tell her that in fact the machine she was at did have "Tangled", but I had reserved it online and was just there to pick it up.
Oh and speaking of the Redbox price increase. I knew this one was coming, and I'm actually surprised it wasn't more. I was pleasantly surprised to see that BR movies will still be $1.50, which is all I ever rent anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if all the chaos Netflix created for themselves with the 60% overnight price increase had a lot to do with Redbox's much smaller increase either.
