I keep reading back and forth on various forums what's the right way to configure cmss-3d and dolby headphone.

Some say you need to set your game/program's output to 5.1

THEN

set your x-fi to cmss-3d enable or xonar to dolby headphone enable.

but some say you set it all to 2.1/headphone and then enable the virtual headphone stuff.

What's the right way?!?!?
