I miss the old PcPer . The motherboard section has subsections of different brands . This hodgepoge mess of all jumpled into one sections is for the birds IMO . Dimishes the reason for posting here . Anyone else agree !

I never understood the point of dumping all of the mobo sub-forums into one either. I mean sure, some of them were dead, but this new way makes it harder to find info on a specific mobo. Imo, it just drives a lot more potential new forum members to the manufacturer's own forums.
Exactly cause this place is like a ghost town now hence the merging of mobo forums. When this place use to practically be all about mobos.

There wasn't enough traffic in the individual forums to justify separate forums. This change isn't the cause of the reduced posting, it was the result.

Of course the issue of the ghost mods still hasn't been taken care of either I see, but that's a whole 'nother thread.
Well, this is my first login since 2004 and I think they should change it back to amdmb.![]()
I agree , this site has helped me alot with the motherboard sub forums . I joined awhile ago , My first board was a soyo kt400 black addition and I have to say there was alot of good people on that forum . Then I went to gigabyte and there also was alot of tremendous help in the sub forum . I agree bring it back !

I still have the soyo dragon kt400 black edition , it has an amd xp 2600 barton in it and it runs like a champ . Still have most of my boards - Gigabyte k7nnxp , Gigabyte k8nsc - 939 - AMD 64 Dual core 4200 and a Gigabyte k8U 939 with a AMD 64 3000 + . They all run good , dont know what Im gonna do with them , maybe give them to some school but their kinda old . Seriously though I appreciated the sub forums on motherboards !
My guess is Asus and Gigabyte are the 2 most popular boards.
How about an Asus folder, a Gigabyte folder and one for all others?
