    new custom build

For $300 more I wanted to build a nice system with a 580 and i7...but after further investigation I feel that the build below would suffice while being $300 cheaper. I hope the ripjaws will fit under the heatsink, already having 8gb I can probably sacrifice a slot. Im a hardcore gamer and going to be tampering with 3d modeling, in hopes that this build will allow me to game on a 55" LG with ultra settings, or high with BF3 and Skyrim.

I debated with the asrock gen3 extreme 3 for $130, but I want a system that will last for a few years where I will be able to OC down the road.

I am not purchasing all of these items from Newegg, used for collaboration

    thanks

    Re: new custom build

I like the blue corsair vengeance RAM but after reading reviews I noticed that the stock ram does not run at 1600 but 1333 and the voltage is typically upped when it's overclocked.

Also the Zalman http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835118074 heat sink is nice, and would look good with all of the blue, but it's priced high at $70..wher you could go water around the same price
