Looks like Steam was just pimping their Twitter feeds. Not exactly hinting at some announcement today. Ah well, you guys all got to read my semi-drunken rant.

    Re: Half-Life 3

While I'd LOVE to play half life 3 or episode 3 right now it never bothers me that they have a VERY long development time. At least when a valve game comes out it works PERFECTLY on launch.

I can't even remember the last non-valve game that I played on launch that didnt have either some or a ton of bugs on launch. I still remember when I bought retail battlefield 2 and it wouldnt work on 3 different PCs of mine out of the box period until it was patched.

That was that last time I bought one of their games..

I still haven't finished either of the first two yet. I got rid of my copy of the first (got bored on my way down to the second level), but I'm busy playing the second again. For the second time I'm getting bored during the river-boat bit, which is where I gave up first time.

Just not my style of came I'm afraid.
I pretty much did the same thing. Got bored and quit.

    DO YOU BELIEVE?

Rumors ABOUND that HL3 will be revealed soon on PC Gamer's cover.

Almost hard to believe Valve would announce something new when they have CS:GO and DOTA 2 coming, but, •••• why not?

No frame rate stutter/reliability problem at release and it would be better than HL2 at release.
