    USB Keyboard install issues

Am presently bual booting Win XP and Win 7 Home as the wife resisted the change to Win.7. Had to get a new KB as my 9 year old and a cup of milk fired the old PS2 KB. It was easy PnP for Win 7, however I woke up this morning to a frustrated wife saying the keyboard would not allow her to log in. "Simple. Just needs a driver" I assumed. So I logged into my the only profile that does not require a password, unplugged and repluged the KB. It XP detected a new device but would not let me install due to lack of Admin Priveledge. All admin priviledge accounts of course require a password that the KB will not let me enter

Thanks is advance for any input.

    Re: USB Keyboard install issues

NM, got it. Used a USB-> PS2 port adapter, logged in, hot swapped to USB port and installed the driver.
