    temp heat fix

i have this 46 inch flatscreen tv with a heat problem.

after 30 minutes or so of being on it gets a intermitant flicker then sometimes the whole screen whites 98 % so u can barely tell what u r watching.

i removed the backplate to the whole back of tv which was pretty easy and put a room fan within 18 inches of the tv and it hasnt went white in sewveral hrs and barely ever even flickered noticeably.

theres a rather large heatsink on the input output board that is hot to the touch even with tv off. i am presuming this is the culprit and want to mount a 12 v pc fan over it temporarily to see if it cures the problem

so my question is how to turn on a pc fan thats hooked up to a psu out of a pc case?

which pins specifically tell the psu to turn on. its a sparkle power international psu model fsp300-60gt
