Good deal bro. Not crapping at your post here by any means.

IMO, what the lower gas/oil prices ($3.11 / $78) mean is that the economy is still just that friggin hoplessly tanked. That is a sad situation.

I've always said the price of oil is the true pulse of the world economy.

    Oil price is down.

Gas in the states is down.

I live in "oil rich" Alberta and gas is....

UP. I paid $1.03/L on monday. Today it is $1.19/L!

    hahah, economics, you so crazy!

My wife says "its people like you" that are to blame for gas prices. I drive a gas-miser beater during the week (41 mpg) and then drive a monster truck on weekends (4 mpg).

I agree thats high, but it's still cheaper than a 2 liter coke-cola
at a drive through dairy or Pizza Hut..They go for around 2.75 or so
and don't get ya anywhere. Point of this post ? Seems Coke and Pepsi
are even worse than oil companies.

    Not in New York anymore.

16 ounces is all you get, so there!!!

    And don't ask for salt.

We've just dropped below four bucks a gallon for regular here. Happy days.

At least there's some coloring and sugar or sweetener in that - a phuking ~12 oz bottle of cold drinking water out of the vending machines at work is $1.50. That's pure insanity.

^ Yep, it's a racket no way around it. Kinda makes ya wonder how
much major grocery stores pay for "food goods" and how much
the markup is. I know companies who put out their food product
pretty large amount of money to get the right spot for their
goods on the floor at a major store.

    Not much difference..

Your fast food joints give you free refills though don't they?

Banning the larger cup size seems a little pointless to me.

Our special brand of "Libberal Idiots" we have running what was once a fine country don't generally think things through very well. You know, the "Feel Good Legislation" concept and all....

Yea a lot of places do, but one can't just buy the drink. One more n
likely, has to buy a burger and not one of the cheap ones, or have
other people with em like kids. Fat food joints pay pennies on the
dollar for drinks, but turn for a dollar min, more like 1.50 and up
    + tax.

We never get free refills over here. Plus our 'large' cup is like your medium.

    Plenty of fatties here though.

I remember visiting London in 1991. I swear the Cokes their must have been 4 ounces and cost a fortune! I got to the point that I just ordered two every time I sat down. Lol, the server was probably thinking "bloody crazy American!"

Enmore, we are well versed in being gluttons. You mention that your
large drinks there are like our medium size. To give you an idea
just how jacked we have become regarding gluttony, we have
thousands of gas station/stores called AMPM's courtesy of BP Oil.

These small stores sell gas and have a lot of different items in the
stores themselves for "convenience". They have fat foods and
drinks as well as other things. One can buy these fountain drinks
in various sizes. They also sell insulated containers for drinks.

Though this isn't one of theirs, they sell one just like it, and I see
people buying these things left and right. No wonder many of us
    are the slobs we are..

My wife actually has one of those "Ultimate Gulps" from 7-11. I think it's about 80 ounces. She drinks one every day at work, but it's filled with water, not soda.
