    A Mac remote access question

Let me start by saying I have never used a Mac and am not familiar with them at all, I am asking this question for someone else.

Is there a way/log or something that would let an individual know if their Mac is being remotely accessed?

And if there is such a log or something on a Mac where would it be found?

    Thanks,

    Laterz,

Re: A Mac remote access question

I would start of by making sure none of the Share services are turned on

Go to System Preferences -> Sharing

Here there are several options for remote login and sharing.

File Sharing, Remote Login, Remote Management etc etc.

Now to view log files there is an application call "Console" which is located in the Applications -> Utilities -> Console.app (have fun with that one)

    Maybe you've been hacked
