    Thumbs down alltagcloud

I do not understand why, as of the last couple of weeks, when I hit the Backbutton to go back to the last page visited here, it does nothing. A check with a right click on the back button shows the last page visited as "http://alltagcloud.info/icons/index". To actually go back a page, I have to either double click or right click and choose the page I want. It wouldn't be a problem, but it isn't always there. Then when I double click, I go back two pages.

At about the same time frame, I started getting popups telling me I am infected and need to download their "Savior in a Can". Checked computer with Spybot, Security Essentials, Ccleaner, Malwarebytes, Trend Micro online scan and found nothing. Probably not related, but I am practicing my typeing and need the word count up.

Any ideas? Or should I learn to live with it?

The "Savior in a can" thing sounds like you're infected. No problem going back a page for me.

I have the same problem with hitting the back button. It requires me to double click and on occasion it will go back 2 pages. It has been doing this for a while and on all 3 of the computers I use. When I right click the back arrow I get the same alltagcloud url as th OP.

    Using IE version 9 btw.

Not sure if PCPer is responsible or one of the advertisers but if you google alltagcloud.info you'll see that lots of sites are experiencing the same thing.
I would suggest using Firefox and the Adblock Plus addon - I do and I can't see it.
Seems to cause a back button problem with IE.

Give HitmanPro a try. Excellent software. And Superantispyware. Those two should help a bunch

Hey guys, no problems here. Is it only occurring with IE? If so, get a real browser (just kidding)!

Also, please don't use ad block on pcper.com....

A quick google shows some other VB sites having the same reported issue.

Some fixed it but they don't say how. From what I could gather one of the ad services was injecting some code

    Thanks for the responses.

I use Firefox occasionally but for normal surfing, I prefer the way IE9 works, looks and acts. I know, stuck in the stone age to you Super Surfers.

And I can see all of Ryan's adds.

I should have clarified. It's been on my ABP exclusion list for a long time now

I've been having the same problem, but if I click on the back arrow and hold it hold it for 5 seconds or so it'll go back one page.

Hmm, just wondering if anything has changed in the last couple days for you all that may have been having this problem?

    Ryan,

I can't give you a definitive start date, but it's been that way on my main system far longer than January 20, 2012. I'd hazard to say at least a couple of months, maybe more.

XP Pro and IE8 here, BTW.

I also can't recall it ever popping back two pages on me since I've adjusted to double-clicking the back button . . .

I don't block ads. It's easy enough to ignore them and I know they're key to the site's operation.

    Re: alltagcloud

I tried ie instead of firefox and see the problem also. If you hover over the back button you'll see the link showing...seems to load up towards the end of a page loading.
They are talking about it on vbulletin forum.
Seems to be ad related, the systems administrator here seems to have found what it is. Maybe ask him Ryan ???
