Everybody has been going on about how realistic this Mass Effect Obama is.
I don't think it looks like him at all.

They probably will. EA is run by business men who like revenue streams.
I've started Mass Effect 2 on my Mass Effect super play through. Turns out, Mass Effect 2 is really good you guys. News flash. I'm playing with all the DLC and I got a crap-ton of overpowered armor and weapons at the beginning of the game. Kinda breaks it, maybe, but I'll pretend that Cerberus has outfitted Shepard with the very best!
yup, EA is certainly the type that would. ME2 was solid and I was very happy with it, but it does sort of suffer from middle child syndrome, in that they have to be careful about extending the first without compromising the overarching story and the ability of the third to tie it off. i know its hip to say that TESB was the best star wars movie, but it definitely has that going on.
I thought Mass Effect 2 and Empire were both pretty good. They always say that the second act of a play is the best because you can go all dark and gritty but still have a happy ending in the third act.
The Star Wars comparison is really apt though, because I think both A New Hope and the first Mass Effect were kind of brilliant in their own way, introduced us to the characters, had a simple yet intriguing story. But, the shit hits the fan and gets real in the second chapter.
I played ME2 when it came out but I just played through it once and kinda went "ho hum, that was great, when's ME3 coming out?" but playing through it again, it's really good. I just wish they would let you recruit all the teammates from the start. As I recall, BioWare had to break up the missions to get the guys to join you into two sections because the Xbox 360 version of the game had to run on two DVDs.

a little talk about some changes to the reputation (paragon/renegade) system in ME3. Sounds good to me

Cool Windows program which lets you calculate which squad mates would survive the final mission in ME2.
I loved the endgame in ME2 where you had to assign different folks to do stuff. It was so much better than ME1 where you had a squad of dudes but at the final mission when you fought Saren, you took two guys with you and the rest just chilled on the ship.
I hope ME3 has something similar.
